None of the TVs we tested offered better picture quality for less money. The TCL 6 Series Dolby Vision HDR TV looks great thanks to its well-designed mini-LED technology and full local dimming, helping it outperform almost any other TV in this price range. It's a good choice for gamers, with THX mode that combines low input lag and high contrast. As if that wasn't enough, the Roku TV operating system is undoubtedly our favorite.

This TV debuted in 2020, but it's the latest model and remains our top pick. TCL also sells an 8K version of the Series 6, but we don't think it's worth the extra money, as well as a Google-powered version that we haven't reviewed (though TCL says the picture quality is the same as the Roku version. ).

Size : 55, 65, 75 inches (price below is for size 65 inches).

Roku is our favorite platform for streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, and it's more integrated into the TV. This TCL 4 series can't beat the aforementioned models in terms of picture quality - the 4K resolution and HDR performance don't help the picture much - but that's fine for most people, especially at this price. .

We haven't reviewed the latest version of this TV, the TCL S455 series, but it has similar specs and we expect it to perform just as well as the previous model we reviewed.

Note that TCL also makes versions of the Series 4 for Google TV and Android TV We haven't reviewed those yet, but we expect the picture quality to be similar to the Roku version

Size : 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 85 inches. (Price below is for size 50 inches.)

The C2 represents the pinnacle of image quality at a decidedly higher price, but it's not too crazy. It outperforms every non-OLED TV on this list, including the Samsung QN90B below, with flawless black levels, unmatched contrast and excellent off-angle viewing. It also has great gaming capabilities, making it the perfect companion for Xbox Series X, S, PlayStation 5, or both. The C2 also comes in a variety of sizes, although the larger model is more expensive.

The upgrade from last year's C1 includes a carbon fiber construction that's 47% lighter—the 65-inch version we reviewed weighed just 37 pounds with the mount, compared to 72 pounds for the 1.65-inch C—plus some additional gameplay tweaks. and new features. Always ready.

Size : 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, 83 inches. (Price below is for size 65 inches.)

Want a high-end TV with amazing picture quality, but not OLED? Samsung QN90B is the best solution. This TV uses QLED TV technology with mini LEDs for a brighter picture than any OLED TV. The impressive contrast of the OLED screen still wins in our side-by-side tests, but the QLED screen of the QN90B is closer than ever.

Size : 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 85 inches. (Price below is for size 65 inches.)

The Vizio V Series is our favorite budget alternative to the TCL 4 Series Roku TVs. We prefer the Roku smart TV system (sound familiar?), but the V Series has some advantages, including a better remote with better sound. Image settings. The image quality is pretty much the same in both, so if you have no choice, it makes sense to go with the cheaper one.

Size: 43, 50, 55, 58-65, 75 inches.

Samsung is the brand that sells more TVs than anyone else, and one of the most famous is the Q60 series. The elegant design of the QLED screen stands out from the other TVs on this list, although the ultra-slim OLED model is less thin and offers more performance, image quality and size than models like the TCL 4 Series and Sony X80K. All of the TVs listed in this article are great value for money, but if you want a Samsung TV and can't afford a high-end model, this is a great option.

Note that the 2021 Q60A is still on sale and may be cheaper than the Q60B in some trims. In our tests, the new version performed better, but if you want the best deal, stick with the Q60A while it's still available.

Sizes: 43-, 50-, 55-, 60-65-, 70-75-, 85 inches. (Price below is 55 inches.)
