A few weeks after the launch of their updated line of smart trainers, Wahoo is back with another new product, the new ELEMNT ROAM bike computer, which adds some highly requested features like dual-band GPS and additional memory, as well as some in less. as requested but as enjoyable as the connectivity of the SuperSapiens sensor. There are things like this that allow you to monitor your glucose levels in real time.

The ELEMNT ROAM is Wahoo's most expensive bike computer, while the ELEMNT BOLT is a slightly more affordable option (the latter currently ranks third in our guide to the best bike computers). That's why riders can expect more from the ROAM, especially since the new model costs more than its predecessor (£ 349 versus £ 299 at the UK RRP).

What else is new in Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM? One of the key additions to the new computer is the addition of the Supersapiens glucose sensor system, which allows drivers to monitor their glucose data at all times while driving without using the phone. Using the Supersapiens settings you can easily control the amount of glucose in your body so that you can use your food / drink correctly.

Other "traditional" enhancements include a new dual-band GPS chip that Wahoo says provides "improved and more accurate navigation," especially when driving in areas with limited GPS reception, such as forests or urban areas. Dual-band GPS is all the rage in the wearable industry, and most major companies have at least one running or triathlon watch with such a chip.

The display has also been updated, with the new 64-color high-contrast ROAM display that allows riders to "use more detailed map data and make it easier to read color-coded maps, charts and data fields," adds Wahoo. remains the same at 17 hours, but up to 32GB storage has been added, allowing users to manage and store multiple regional map packs and saved routes.

And, following in the footsteps of the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar and Hammerhead Karoo 2, Wahoo has updated the climbing functionality of the Summit segments. This feature now automatically finds climbs on a preloaded route, displays all completed climbs, and users can see more details on current or future climbs on their journey. And of course, ELEMNT ROAM integrates seamlessly with Wahoo's indoor and outdoor connected training solutions.

Finally, ELEMNT ROAM adds completely new features to the existing collection. These include USB-C charging, embossed buttons, ambient light sensor, zoom options with perfect view, quick view LEDs, smart device navigation, and seamless streaming of multiple sports. The new ELEMNT ROAM is now available direct from Wahoo UK for £ 349.99. For US / Australian pricing and availability, visit the Wahoo USA or Australia websites.
