Xiaomi's Smart Band 7 Pro Fitness Tracker Is Going Global

Xiaomi is not well-known in the smartwatch market, but it has managed to make a name for itself in the fitness tracker segment with its excellent Mi Band series. It's versatile and very affordable compared to the competition, making it one of the best fitness trackers you can buy. In May 2022, the company announced the Mi Band 7 and in July released a Pro model with a larger screen and better build quality. Three months after its debut in China, the team goes to Europe, albeit with a different name: Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro.

The design of the Smart Band 7 Pro differs from other Mi Band wearables: it looks more like a smartwatch than a fitness bracelet. The 1.64-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a nominal brightness of 500 nits and an always-on function is housed in a plastic body with a metal finish on top. The device is water resistant up to 5 ATM, which means you can use it while swimming, as long as you don't go more than 50 meters underwater. You can have more than 150 markers to adjust the range width to your liking.

Smart Band 7 Pro has 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, PPG sensor for heart rate monitoring, SpO2 and ambient light sensor for health monitoring. Other health metrics that can be tracked include stress, women's health, and sleep tracking. There are over 110 workout routines, including 10 workouts that help you lose fat and improve cardiovascular health. Unlike the regular Mi Band 7, the Smart Band 7 Pro has built-in GPS, so you can run without your phone and track your run properly.

Xiaomi claims that with a 235mAh battery, the Smart Band 7 Pro can last 12 days on a single charge. However, your actual mileage will vary depending on the configuration you use. The sports bracelet is available in black and ivory, and the bracelet is available in eight colors.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro will go on sale in Germany and some European countries starting today. The first buyers can buy the laptop for 90 euros, after which the price will increase to 100 euros.
