Minisforum MC560 Is A PintSized PC Tower Offering WFH Focus And Smart Speaker Style
Minisforum has released another mini PC, but this one breaks the mold with an entirely new design and becomes the cornerstone of the firm's Mars line. At first glance, the Minisforum MC560 might seem like the new smart speaker for Amazon Alexa or Google Nest Home. However, the MC560 is a complete PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U 6C/12T APU at its core, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, an M.2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD and support for multiple connectivity options. Above the small tower and below the 2.5k QHD HDR webcam, Minisforum has installed a pair of stereo speakers to make it an attractive and unique proposition.

In our article we cover the features of the Minisforum MC560 work from home (WFH) amplifier. The camera is better than most cameras you'll find in a laptop design. The main feature of the camera is that it offers a QHD resolution (we assume that 2560 x 1440 pixels is similar to a QHD monitor). It offers HDR color and has a 93.8° field of view. Users can tilt the camera up to 10° to make it easier to position the MC560 for teleconferencing.

Business teleconferencing equipment also needs the right microphone. Minisforum says its MC560 has dual 180° beam-forming microphones for clear and precisely directional sound recording with AI noise cancellation. Complementing this aspect of the Mini PC's design are the two built-in speakers, which means it's a minimal setup system for teleconferencing and WFH, and looks like a decent feature on paper.

Measuring just 4.2 x 2.7 x 6.0 inches (approx. 105 x 70 x 150 mm), the device is no small thing like a mini PC. Note that this is one of AMD's lowest-power APUs, using the 15W notebook model, but still running at 2.3GHz base up to 4.2GHz as the 6C/12T. Turbo, with 16MB L3 cache. For light 3D acceleration. In applications and games, the APU combines a Radeon RX Vega 7 GPU with 7 CUs up to 1.8 GHz.

Before we get into the selection of ports provided, it is worth noting that this sounds like another Minisforum optional Bobo or fully configured drive, which, however, explains that you can configure up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory and there is an M. : 2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD for storage. Wireless connectivity is provided with built-in Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.2.
