Chris Martin who is legally known as Christopher Anthony John Martin was born on March 2, 1977, in Exeter, Devon, England to Anthony John Martin, a former chartered accountant, and Alison Martin, a Zimbabwean music teacher as the couple’s oldest child. Martin’s of Exeter, a caravan and motorhome sales business owned by his grandfather John Besley Martin, was sold to an employee by his father in the year 1999.
